Hello Fellow Readers!

You are the reason Mythica: A Quest for Heroes: Official Movie Novelization was so successful after its launch. With your help, we even surpassed the Kickstarter goal and went on to spread the Mythica love to many others.

I believe the wonder of Mythica: A Quest for Heroes: Official Movie Novelization (it’s a mouthful, I know) comes from building on and exploring further the amazing world the film already established. You probably feel the same. Being a part of something larger in this novelization made me realize I wanted to do it again.

You read that right. The Future House team and I have taken on a similar project in an awesome world rich with lore. We know you love fantasy and adventure just as much as we do, so you’ll really want to hear about our next project.

Some of you may be familiar with the Super Dungeon Explore board games. They’ve had several very successful Kickstarter campaigns, and we loved their fantasy world. So now we are expanding that world into not one, not two, but five novelizations!

This novelization will take readers and gamers alike into an incredible world full of new magical creatures and adventures! Our authors have taken the existing characters from the game and several new characters never before available to play and have created awesome, new stories. Now, these characters that you get to become on the board are suddenly following their own stories. Our authors have created a narrative that helps you explore the levels of this game in a whole new way.

We want to give a shout-out to our incredibly talented authors who have worked tirelessly to share this world with you. Thank you, Adam Sidwell (Evertaster), Zachary James (Fantastic Worlds: A Fantasy Anthology), D. W. Vogel (Horizon Alpha), David J. West (Dark Trails Saga), Dan Allen (The Exalting), and Christopher Keene (Dream State Saga).

Order your books and mini figures now!

The preorder ends on April 30th, so don't wait and miss your chance to get not only the books, but the limited edition playable minis.

Tweaking the Final Touches

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were packed.

On Wednesday, Kevin dropped by to sign over 120 books, and boy, was his wrist tired! (I don't actually know, I didn't actually ask, but I assume it was because dang that's a lot of books).

One Happy Author With His Books

Thursday saw Adam, myself, and the rest of the crew over here at FHP packaging and organizing the rest. Then, in the afternoon, we split up and hit several post offices.

The longest part of shipping is international packages. USPS is the proud owner of several inefficient processes which really slows down the line behind us, so much so that one of the postal workers told Adam we needed to 'courtesy call' ahead. Despite that hiccup, all the other postal workers were great and helped us with big old smiles. Thanks, gang!

We didn't get everything done on Thursday, but after we went home on Friday, every single package had been shipped out. We hope everyone receives their stuff within two weeks (American backers) or five weeks (International backers). Don't hesitate to give us a shout if you haven't received your reward in that timeframe.

For now, though, we're all ready to take a break. We'll be popping on here every so often, but before we see the soft close of this project, we wanted to thank all of you for your support and dedication to Mythica, to Arrowstorm Entertainment, and to us.

We love you, beloved backers! We'll keep you posted as further updates hit our beaches!

A Day at the Post Office
about 9 years ago – Fri, Mar 24, 2017 at 07:30:27 PM

Zac and I are shuttling boxes back and forth to the post office today. We're getting to be good friends with Lori, the post woman behind the counter.

It turns out she reads too. Mostly Jack Reacher thrillers, but she's fascinated by the whole concept of Mythica.

A movie, THEN a book? How interesting. Then you can delve into the characters' motives and thoughts in a new way.

We agree. We're very excited for you to get this book.

Lori says it will take about a week for the mail to deliver.

This is just the first round. We still need Kevin to come in and sign some copies, so if you got an autographed copy, that will take us a few extra days to ship out. We're also waiting on more copies of Resurgent Shadows to arrive.

Thanks for your patience. There are many steps that go into making a book, but we think it will be well worth the wait!
